Friday, the outgoing DHOM (Lachlan) has his final farewell with all the staff
at the High Commission.
Lachlan’s
had more farewells in the last two weeks than John Farnham did in the 90’s.

Goodbye to our Deputy High Commissioner
Our Deputy High Commissioner (DHOM) Lachlan,
is leaving this coming week after nearly four years in India.
He was there for the 2009 student crisis,
the Commonwealth Games of 2010 & most recently, oversaw alot of the events
related to Ausfest, the Australian cultural festival that’s been going on for
the last four months.
That sound like more than enough excitement
for one posting.
The unofficial farewell party was held last
night, at the DHOM’s residence.
Lachie, we wish you & the family all the
best back in Australia.
