Just before we left for Perth, my family & Tania’s parents caught up for a lovely lunch at “BreakPoint Bar & Grill” in Burleigh Heads:

A few days after Christmas, we caught up with Tania’s Aunt, Uncle & cousins.

Christmas day was spent at Tania’s sister’s place with her brother-in-law’s family.

We continued the theme for Christmas – turbans for the men & dupattas for the women:

Christmas day was spent at Tania’s sister’s place with her brother-in-law’s family.

We had a bit of theme for the party – all the men had to wear turbans we’d bought in Old Delhi (much to the amusement of the shop owner) while the women had to wear dupattas (also bought from the same place).

Everyone got into the spirit of things & a good time was had by all:

Christmas with my family

On Christmas eve, Tania & I met up with my family for lunch. We hadn’t seen them in two years & it was a great catch up:

The night before Tania & I flew out to Australia, we went to one of the weddings (there were three) of Tania’s Executive Officer’s daughter.

We would have loved to stay longer but we had a plane to catch early in the morning.

Sorry for the lack of posts these last few weeks - Tania & I have been in Australia on holidays for the Christmas break
